A historic resting place shaped by generations

Across generations

A story that began beside Sugar Creek.

In 1815, a wagon party traveling along Sugar Creek stopped after one member became ill and died.

The travelers received permission for a burial on the hillside property. That land was later donated for use as Talbott Cemetery.
